Heidy was born in Guatemala, lived 2-1/2 years in Sweden (Uppsala), then moved to NYC where she lived for about 14 years, graduated Franklin K. Lane High School, and attended Borough Of Manhattan Community College. Heidy traveled around Europe and the United States, but in 2004 she settled in Oklahoma, where she enjoys the friendly atmosphere. Heidy is bilingual, and likes putting that talent to use assisting those who aren't able to speak English. She continues to learn about immigration law working at Winningham, Stein & Basey.

Sonja has worked in the legal field since 1990, she graduated from City College in 1994 as a Certified Legal Assistant, and she began devoting her full time attention to legal work in 1995, joining Winningham & Stein in 1998. She worked and trained in numerous areas of law, but she enjoys immigration the most: it brings a smile to her face each time a case is approved. Sonja specializes in employment visas, and so she spends much of her time assisting companies and employees with their immigration needs. Sonja is married and has two boys that keep her busy. She enjoys reading, cross-stitching, listening to classical music and working on the computer. Sonja and her family are active with their religious affiliation and enjoys talking with others about their beliefs.

 Scott Henley, Ph.D., J.D.

E. Scott Henley serves as President of Henley Associates, Inc. in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He also serves as an Adjunct Professor of Health Administration and Policy at the University of Oklahoma. Previously he was a senior health care executive, having served as Chief Executive Officer of a 282-bed regional hospital, President and Chief Executive Officer of a 360-bed regional hospital, Chief Operating Officer of a 500-bed medical center, and Chief Financial Officer of a 450-bed university medical center. Mr. Henley serves as an officer on the boards of directors of numerous national, regional, and local organizations. He is a Fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives. He was presented the Distinguished Graduate Award by the President of the University of Oklahoma at the University of Oklahoma Centennial Celebration in 1990. He has frequently lectured, consulted, and presented papers nationally. Mr. Henley holds a Masters degree from the University of Iowa as well as Baccalaureate and Ph. D. Degrees from the University of Oklahoma. He also holds a Juris Doctor degree from the Oklahoma City University School of law. Mr. Henley is a retired Colonel in the United States Army Reserve and a graduate of both the United states Army Command and General Staff College and the United States Army War College.

 Phyllis Lambert Accounting

Though born and raised in Connecticut, Phyllis has lived in many different places. An honors graduate of South Oak Cliff High School in Dallas, she was also Vocational Office Education Honoree. Mother of five and grandmother of ten, Phyllis lived in Canada, Texas, California, Connecticut (to name a few) before settling in Oklahoma with her husband Jerry, a successful local photographer. She and Jerry enjoy traveling, and visit many places of picture perfect beauty together. Phyllis operated her own residential remodeling and cleaning business before she came to Winningham & Stein in 1999. She has since proven herself a valuable employee, but still enjoys home remodeling as a hobby. Her other hobbies include gardening, photography and Christian volunteer work.

 Jo Thompson Paralegal

A native Texan, Jo lived in Utah, New Mexico, and Michigan before settling in Edmond, and has been an Oklahoma City area resident for over 20 years. Jo attended college in Texas and received an Associates Degree in Education. After her three children left the nest for careers of their own, Jo worked as office manger for an environmental company before joining the Winningham Stein & Basey staff in November 2002. Outside of work she is active in her church and Bible Study Group; enjoys genealogy, music, plays and productions; and likes to travel occasionally with her daughters.

 Olga Vassiltchenko Administrative Assistant

Olga is our Olympic medalist from Russia. In the 1980 Summer Olympics she received a Silver Medal as member to the Russian Women's Rowing Team. She was also a 5 time national rowing champion of the Soviet Union. Olga attended the Moscow Medical College and the Moscow State Regional Institute of Physical Culture. She came to the U.S, in 1994. She served as a volunteer nurse at the Murray Building bombing site. In 1998 she married Vladimir Popov who is also from Russia. Our firm assited her in obtaining her permanent residence. Both she and Vladimir are now naturalized US citizens. |

 Mira Vezirska Paralegal

Mira has lived in Oklahoma since 2006, but she is originally from Bulgaria, where she and her husband were attorneys. Mira graduated from Oklahoma City University in 2007 with an MBA in Finance, and is looking forward to starting work on her Juris Doctor so she might one day join the firm as an attorney. Mira is happily married and the very proud mother of a wonderful baby boy. She enjoys helping others, especially with their immigration issues. She likes reading, traveling, listening to music and being with friends. Mira’s words to live by: It doesn’t matter how hard it is sometimes, don't forget to smile!

 Enrique Villar Gambetta Commercial Manager

Enrique was born and raised in Lima, Peru. Graduated from Law School in Peru in 1986. He started his own law firm in Peru before coming to the United States. Previously worked in Miami, Florida before relocating to Oklahoma. He started working with WSB in February 2008. He is married to Aisa, also from Lima, Peru. They have two boys. He loves to travel, hunt, free-dive, and is an excellent cook.

Vance's son Andrew graduated valedictorian from Edmond Santa Fe High School in 2002, received a bachelor's degree in Religious Studies from the University of Oklahoma in 2006, and earned his Juris Doctor from Oklahoma City University in 2009. In summer 2009, he founded tech.pros.inc. to maintain computer networks to reduce small businesses' need for troubleshooting and support. At home, Andrew enjoys spending time with his wife Jennifer, son Greyson, and their Chihuahuas Dottie & Pepito.
